Apologies that broken URL parsing for albums was not working. The move to GoDaddy overwrote the mod_rewrite rule to parse a SEO friendly "slug" into an actual URL link. |

Another SEO friendly additon. Added a slug based URL system to replace query string variables in the gallery section of the site. |

Added a switch statement to create custom page titles for all the content files. Then added a couple of functions to the header file to get the Album name from number value at the end of the gallery page URL. Should help SEO. Also added the year to the peaks page. |

Lots of small but important changes to the code driving the site. Changed chronology and news pages from hard coded to DB driven. Improved search function so you can search by phrase too. Re-wrote some content and added some additional images to the home page slide show. |

Home again. All in all a good trip. So different from last year. Snow, lots of water, bugs, wildflowers, monsoon weather ... a different Sept for sure.
Expectations were a bit high given the ankle timeframe. Balance is still a bit of an issue so I declined to do any peak bagging. There appears to be something to learn from the ultralite backpackers. My load while modern and much lighter than the old days, is still too heavy. Change is good. |

Back for another season. Couldn't be more different than last year. It's like a season delayed. There's lots of snow, wildflowers and of course mosquitos. Bets was here for two weeks before she had to head home to her real job. I'm here for awhile. |

Five plus months on the path to recovery. Making good progress. Lots of bike rides and walking. One tiring hike in the Whites (Edmunds Path). Knee and heel now correctly climb stairs such that calf isn't struggling to do it all alone. Current plan is to hit the Eastside end of Aug for 6 weeks in the backcountry. |

Right ankle fusion. Same instability / arthritis issues that the left had (fused in 2005). Left foot has better than expected flexibility. So looking forward to the right catching up. |

A good six week trip to the East Side and back. Got violently sick at the start of a 3rd outting. Managed to stumble out in two days. Exhausted by the effort, it seemed time to head home. |
